David Gaffen has been a writer and journalist for thirty years. A writer of short fiction currently at work on a novel, he writes about how people seem to exist in a permanent state of impermanence.

In addition to writing, David is an avid traveler, having visited more than thirty countries - with a particular affinity for using public transit in as many places as possible, be it the Tokyo, the Galapagos Islands, or Newark, NJ.

He lives in New York with his wife, kids and a 15-pound watchdog named Sadie.
